How Big is a youth large tee shirt compared to a mens size small tee shirt??

im purchasing a band tee shirt off the internet, it is in youth sizes! i fit into a male small or a female medium. this is a girls fitted youth large!

Big difference.
A youth large would be about the same width as a adult small
but it’s much much shorter.
